Fixed to Mobile rates for LIME customers reduced

The National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC) has informed the public that as of Saturday, April 2, 2011, the Fixed to Mobile rate for LIME customers has been reduced.{{more}}

The Fixed to Mobile rate went down from 54 cents per min to 49 cents per min (VAT exclusive), in keeping with the new Price Cap Plan (PCP) that was approved by the NTRC on August 24, 2010.

This Price Cap Plan was developed by ECTEL and regulates a number of fixed line services of LIME. Similar Price Cap Plans exist in Grenada, Dominica, St. Lucia and St. Kitts & Nevis, who are all members of ECTEL.

This has been the third reduction under the new Price Cap Plan, with the final and fourth reduction to occur on October 1, 2011, which will take the rate down to 40 cents per min.
