SwiftPac, an ocean and air cargo delivery service, is seeking to provide at a more affordable cost a reliable alternative when choosing a delivery agent.{{more}}

With immediate effect, Swift Pac’s courier service will be offering same day delivery to Barbados, St.Lucia, and Trinidad and Tobago. Customers are advised that items to the other islands will be delivered within 48 hours.

And from January, Swift Pac will also be offering an international courier service where items will be delivered from its Caribbean outlets to the United States, via a major US courier company.

“It is reliable as the current established courier services, but at only two thirds the current courier cost,” said Ricardo Drayton, one of the company’s regional directors.

In an interview with SEARCHLIGHT on Tuesday, December 7, Drayton took pleasure in announcing that Swift Pac will also be offering three times a week regional and international air cargo services.

“We also offer shipment of small packages from the US, twice per week, to all Caribbean destinations,” said Drayton. The packages from the US will be stored in two of the company’s warehouses: one in Miami and the other in New York.

Drayton promised that from January, customers will be seeing improved cargo services from the company to all Caribbean destinations that receive items from the United States and other parts of the world. One of the plans is to offer an inter Caribbean containerized and LCL cargo service, said Drayton.

Swift Pac will also offer a reliable and cost effective mailbox service with a host of advantages over similar operators.The services include: Ocean Freight to and from neighbouring islands, ocean freight to and from Puerto Rico and the United States, air freight to and from neighbouring islands, air freight to and from Puerto Rico and the United States, enhanced frequency to St.Vincent and the Grenadines, door to door delivery, state of the art tracking and portable moving and self storage, as well as a first class accomodation for overseas procument (Mail Box).

Another unique feature of this initiative is the One Shop for Personal and Corporate US Mailbox. With a Mail Box Service and Mailing Address, customers/clients can shop from there offices, comfort of their homes or even the Internet Cafe for car parts, fresh produce, electronic equipment (including 110Vand 240V appliances), construction materials, clothing and shoes, vehicles, food, seafood, restaurant and hotel supplies, medicine as well as office supplies.

In addition, shoppers can log on to www.swiftpac.com and give instructions on how or where their merchandise should be shipped. Customs Clearance and Delivery Services are provided by the local Swift Pac office.(HN)
