Morgan wins October Groceries Galore prize
Veronica Morgan of Calliaqua is the lucky winner of the October 2010 Groceries Galore Monthly Food Carry-Away.{{more}}
Morgan received the winning voucher for $500 worth of groceries which she collected at Big J. Supermarket, Lower Middle Street, one of the participating outlets for Groceries Galore tickets.
The draw took place at Heritage Square on Friday, October 29, at 7 p.m. Promotion of the draw and the announcing of the winner was done courtesy Francois Promotions.
Groceries Galore seeks to be a platform from which the presence of hunger and disease in SVG can be fought through preventative programmes and donations, be it food or medicine.
Each month a new winner walks away with $500 worth of groceries. The draw takes place on the last Friday of each month at Heritage Square.
Tickets are $2 and are available at participating outlets in and around Kingstown and in Bequia.
Octoberâs draw is the third since the launching of Groceries Galore in August this year.
