HOPE Foundation to appreciate oustanding persons for Independence

Helping Other Pursue Excellence (HOPE) Foundation will also be celebrating the month of independence in grand style when they host their annual awards ceremony and dinner.{{more}}

The gala event, which will take place on Friday, October 22, at the Golden Years Activity Centre at Cane Grove, aims at recognizing people in the Buccament/Vermont valley who have made a difference in that community.

Among the awards to be handed out are best Common Entrance performance, best CXC O’level results, as well as sportsman and sportswoman of the year. A laptop valued at $3,000 is among some of the other prizes to be awarded.

The Awardees in each category will also receive a plaque to highlight and recognize exceptional achievements.
