The 34th triennial Synod of the Diocese of the Windward Islands takes place from Sunday, October 17, to Thursday, October 21, 2010. The Synod which will be chaired by Bishop of the Windward, the Rt. Rev’d C. Leopold Friday, will be begin with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist at the St. George’s Cathedral, preceded by a procession from the Kingstown Anglican School.{{more}} Some sixty delegates comprising Clergy and Laity from Grenada, St. Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines will attend.

The business session of the Synod will be held at the Girl Guides Headquarters, Level Garden, Kingstown.

A release from the Bishop’s office states that the Synod is being held under the theme “Equipping the Saints for Mission and Ministry in a Changing Caribbean”
