Total FM – life changing radio

Though only a few months into operation, Total Inspiration 100.5 has positioned itself as ‘Life changing Radio’ and as such is urging the Vincentian Christian community to ‘Experience life Changing Radio, i.e. Total Inspiration 100.5. According to Head of Sales & Marketing at SVG Broadcasting Corporation, of which Total Inspiration is a part, nothing does this better than through its programming.{{more}}

Program Assistant of the station, Richard Beadle, notes that families are enthralled by the ‘Kidz Praise’ program aimed at kids for all ages, which is aired on Saturday mornings. He adds that one of the common complaints of families is their kids obsession with cartoons; with this in mind, Total Inspiration provides a wonderful presentation of gospel music sung by and for children, featuring children’s choirs from every continent, interspersed with children’s Bible stories, filled with fun, laughter and great lessons.

Being a niche service, the station is also aware that the Christian community uses the Bible to guide their way of life, thus the introduction of ‘Life Insight’, a original production of Total Inspiration. Sealey notes that the program encourages persons to think about how the many well-known passages (in the Bible) apply to one’s daily life. Life Insight brings the Bible to life in wonderful 5 minute presentations and sets the individual on a powerful path to success each day with a practical application for living.

With the knowledge that gospel music is also Christian food, the unique station has also launched Caribbean Gospel Beat, produced by Total Inspiration which aires on Saturday afternoons. Listeners can enjoy three hours of the best gospel music from across the region, featuring all the authentic sounds and melodies of the Afro-Caribbean culture, from acapella sounds to kaiso, calypso and reggae. Beadle says that the program is designed to transport listeners across the islands and keep up-to-date with what’s happening across the region.

Along with these introductions, Total Inspiration is also offering the public the unique opportunity to own copies of certain programs so that they keep enjoy them in the comfort of their home, car, business or various church ministry. Sealey stated that the radio station is definitely positioning itself to be the ‘must listen to’ station of the Vincentian Christian community.
