Premier Distributors seals gifts with a KISS

Nine persons were rewarded for making KISS cakes their snack of choice, during the inaugural KISS Back to School Promotions.{{more}}

On Thursday, August 26, five of the lucky winners received cheques valued $500, $300 and $200 from Premier Distributors, for placing first, second and third, respectively, during the month long promotions.

During the promotions, participants had to purchase the cream filled treat and drop off six wrappers and a voucher filled with personal information at various locations to give themselves a winning chance.

One draw per week was done by company officials at their warehouse in Calliaqua.

The first draw saw Shemika Lowman, Zejanigueca Ballantyne and Roxelle Michael being selected. This was followed by another draw that saw Tristan Warren, Alice Jessamy and Evelyn Allahdua being selected. In the third draw Jawanza Woods, Janet Agguette and Lydia Michael were selected, respectively.

The winners also received an additional carton of the KISS product along with their cheques.

Manager of Premier Distributors Allyson Smith- Sampson presenting the cheques, said that her company saw the promotions as a means of giving back to the country.

She said the initiative also went a long way in fulfilling the company’s corporate responsibility.

“We are interested in the welfare of the nation’s children,” Sampson said.

“This prize gives the parents some extra cash to get the kids ready for school.”

She said the company is planning to make the promotion an annual event.

Premier Distributors, a Trinidad and Tobago based company which started operations here in March 2008, are also the distributors of Holiday Snacks, Bermudez and WIBISCO products.
