SJ CK top in Rotary Club Nutrition Quiz

On Thursday, July 1, 2010, the Rotary Club held the finals of the 2010 secondary school’ Nutrition Quiz{{more}} at the Frenches House.

Represented at finals were – St. Joseph Convent Kingstown, Shantel Williams and Shanice Small – Emmanuel High School Mespo, Karielle Edwards – St. Joseph Convent Marriaqua, Dearesa Cyrus – Thomas Saunders Secondary, Chelese Cropper and Rhonique Morgan of the Mountain View SDA Academy.

Remarks were made by Lisa Casinno – representative from the Rotary Club and Education Officer/Home Economics Ingrid Robinson.

At the end of the five-round competition St. Joseph Convent participants Shanice Morris and Aimee Dunn placed first and second respectively, while Rhonique Morgan of the Mountain View Academy was third and Shanice Small of the Emmanuel Mespo was fourth. All four students will represent St. Vincent at the Caribbean Food and Nutrition Institute CFNI Regional Secondary School Nutrition Quiz to be held on October 20 and 21, 2010.
