In a climate of conflicting attitudes toward God, how

can the faithful withstand constant attacks on their belief in God?{{more}}

Intriguing answers to this and other questions will be explored during the Jehovah Witnesses’ 2010 “Remain Close to Jehovah” District Convention to be held at the Arnos Vale Sporting Complex.

The Convention will begin Friday, July 23, 2010, at 9:20 a.m. The theme is based on several passages of the Bible, including Joshua 23:8, Psalm 73:28, Proverbs 3:32, and the key text at James 4:8.

During the past two weeks and continuing next week, Jehovah’s Witnesses have been and will continue to extend personal invitations to everyone to attend.

Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that a strong relationship

with God is vital for spiritual well-being and personal

happiness.

Strengthening one’s spirituality will be the focus of the programme.

Admission to the convention is free, and no collections will be taken.

Locally, all of the Jehovah’s Witnesses congregations will be supporting the activity.

An estimated 700 will come to the Arnos Vale Sporting Complex for the programme.

The Jehovah’s Witness convention examines attitudes toward God. All are invited to attend.

Worldwide, there are over 7,300,000 Jehovah Witnesses in more than 105,000 congregations.
