On Monday, July 12, Miss SVG 2010 Aphesia Matthews selected Brian Pipeâs name from hundreds of entries, then phoned him to let him know his good fortune.
A bit sceptical initially, Pipe was very pleased with his win and said he would collect the 15â television as soon as possible.
The television has an inbuilt DVD/CD player and is equipped with Dolby surround sound.
Persons had the opportunity to be entered into the draw, which took place at Trotmanâs Depot in Arnos Vale, when they spent EC$200 or more at the Trotmanâs outlets in Kingstown or Arnos Vale.
Additionally, store supervisor Hyacinth Bynoe presented Miss Carival 2010 with a desk lamp as a token of appreciation.
Matthews, who is a past customer of the store, said: âItâs a good place to shop.â(JV)
