A lucky person who (beginning in May), has either topped up $25 or more, signed up for pre paid or postpaid Blackberry, purchased a Blackberry or talked for three minutes on a local call or five minutes on an international call will win the Digicel Fifa World Cup Promotion dubbed, âMake The Teamâ.
Corporate Sales Executive at Digicel Justin John said that the winner will receive US$500 spending money, two tickets to the finals on July 11, departure tax, free accommodations and two airline tickets to South Africa. John said that apart from that, the winner and a companion will leave St. Vincent on July 6 and on arrival in South Africa, they will have the opportunity to go on a safari tour and a tour of soccer city where they can meet some of the soccer stars.
Last Wednesday, in an effort to reward customers before the draw, Digicel held a grand giveaway promotion at their flagship store The Cell. Persons purchasing credit, cell phones or accessories at The Cell were given prizes that included soccer balls, t-shirts, Fifa gear bags and water bottles. Children were also treated to face painting. Over 1000 persons received gifts on Wednesday just for walking into The Cell.
