Alexander wins big with Digicel

Union Island resident Brenda Alexander walked out of Digicel’s Corporate Offices last Wednesday with a 40-inch Toshiba flat screen television, a Blackberry Gemini and one-year free cable compliments Karib Cable.{{more}}

Alexander is the winner of Digicel’s April ‘Fifa Treasures’ promotion. Persons were entered in the draw when they topped up EC$20 or more (as Alexander did), paid their post paid bill on time or signed up for a data plan in April.

Alexander said that she has been with Digicel for, “a very long time now”, having bought her phone when the company opened its branch in Union island.

“This is a big deal; it’s a great thing to win with Digicel; I have a phone already but it’s a great deal to get another one,” said Alexander with a smile on her face. She added that her current television has a 21 inch screen, “so I’m glad for this bigger TV and also glad for the Cable because I don’t have cable.”

“This is the first time I ever won anything in my life,” revealed Alexander.

Marketing Assistant at Karib Cable, Delecia Skeritt, said that Karib Cable became involved in the promotion with Digicel in an attempt to reward a lucky person. She added that Karib Cable is always glad to team up with Digicel in these worthwhile ventures that help to make people happy.
