Akelia wins March Bible Quiz

A third form student of the St. Joseph’s Convent Marriaqua, Akelia Primus, is the most recent winner of the Secondary School Bible Quiz. Akelia received her prize on Monday, April 19, at the school for winning the March Quiz.{{more}}

Each month a Bible, $100.00 cash and now a $50.00 gift-voucher is on offer to a student who successfully participates in the quiz.

Joel Jack, coordinator of the quiz, explains that in addition to the monthly draw, those who participate allow themselves and school to compete for superior prizes at the end of the year. These include the Frequent Participant and Outstanding School Awards.

He stressed that a knowledge and application of the Bible is a sure way to improve the quality of one’s life here and to experience bliss beyond this life.
