International Airport Development Company launches website
Vincentians living at home and in the Diaspora have an opportunity to learn more about the international airport at Argyle via the International Airport Development Companyâs (IADC) new website.{{more}}
The website (www.svgiadc.com) was launched at the National Insurance Services Training Room on Monday, January 11, 2010.
In attendance were representatives from the St.Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority, and senior personnel from other government ministries.
Communications Director Jennifer Richardson had the honour of launching the site.
She gave the audience a tour of the site by explaining the various segments of the homepage and mentioned other sites such as the Government and the St.Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism which are linked to it.
Richardson disclosed that persons navigating the site will have access to the media centre resources, publications, the IADC Newsletter, presentations by Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves and Dr. Rudy Matthias, the audio visual page, company news, airport development, environmental information, and photos.
Richardson noted that Vincentians can contribute financially to the airport by making their donations through the website.
She used the opportunity to thank everyone who contributed towards making the website a reality.
