Coreen destined to win!

COREEN DUNCAN is the winner of the SVGBC, Hitz FM 103.7 and EZee Radio Door to your Destiny promotion.

The Layou resident walked away with several prizes on Monday, December 21, 2009, at the finals of the competition held at Fine Things at Arnos Vale.{{more}}

Duncan was among the four finalists who battled to win prizes, including a trip to a Caribbean destination and a $1,000 shopping spree at Fine Things.

The finalists participated in a quiz session with the person answering the most questions correctly being declared the winner. The remaining finalists had the choice of a surprise gift or a gift that was behind a ‘door’ located inside Fine Things, which had to be first found by the contestant.

Duncan expressed her delight on being declared the winner of the promotion. “I have never won anything in my life,” she beamed. Duncan said that she called in twice on the radio to participate in the competition. She admitted that she was a bit nervous during Monday’s finals but said that it was worth it.

Duncan’s array of gifts and prizes includes $1,000 from Western Union, a cellular phone with $200 credit from Digicel, a mountain bike from Sailors Cycle centre, a 14 inch Precision TV from Courts, a ham from Lulley’s Fishing Supplies, a hamper from Log enterprises, an Eve hamper, a Drinks Hamper from Coreas Food Division and a $300 L’Oreal gift basket courtesy The Trend – The Levi store.

The runners up of the finals received gifts and prizes from the sponsors of the competition. Gifts were also given to winners of the previous week’s call-in competition.
