In fact, this year marks 25 years of existence for the Authority, and General Manager McGregor Sealy is looking forward to greater things in the future.
Speaking at the main office in Kingstown on Monday, Sealy told the media that he is privileged to have been at the helm of the National Lotteries Authority from inception.
Sealy expressed thanks to all the persons over the years who have been instrumental in bringing the National Lotteries to where it is today and for assisting in national development.
That was not the only reason to celebrate for Sealy. He noted that this year, the Authority recorded record sales of $50,279,000, surpassing last yearâs figure of $42,504,000.
Sealy said that the National Lotteries Authority remains committed to national development and thanked the general public for all their support over the years.
