Karib Cable- Stop shooting overhead cables

Karib Cable is again appealing to hunters not to shoot animals off any overhead cables, as this can cause lengthy service interruptions and considerable inconvenience to customers.{{more}}

A release from Karib Cable said this week the company encountered service outages due to damage caused by shooting of our fiber optic cables on the Leeward and Windward sides of the island.

Karib Cable is asking customers who may experience interruptions in service due to damage to the fiber optic cable to contact them immediately at 570-1600. “Every effort will be made to repair the cable and reconnect service as quickly as possible,” the release said.

Karib Cable sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by service interruptions during this hunting season.
