Golden Years centre gets craft materials

The Golden Years Centre at Black Point is the recipient of some craft making materials courtesy the Urban Divinity Ministries of Birmingham, England.{{more}}

The wool and other miscellaneous items were handed over to Joy Balcombe, Director of the Centre, last Tuesday, December 8.

According to Rev. Dr Hubert Bruce, President of the Urban Divinity Unit Theological College in San Souci, the idea came about during a visit by members of the British contingent during a recent visit.

Bruce said the visitors were impressed with the craft items on display, the work done by the senior citizens, and based on the need for raw materials, a decision was made to donate some supplies to ensure the continuity of the project. (DD)
