Large crowd at Sandy Bay

A large crowd turned up at Sandy Bay last Sunday when the YES Vote Committee on the November Referendum took its campaign to the North Windward Constituency.{{more}}

Speakers at the Rally included Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves, Parnel Campbell, QC, area representative Montgomery Daniel, Senator Saboto Caesar and Young National and Rhodes Scholar Luke Browne.

Daniel recommended to his constituents that they vote for the new constitution since it would contribute to the further development of the country.

He lauded the provision for local government, something he said would be very important for his own constituency, which is more than 25 miles from Kingstown by road.

Meanwhile, Senator Caesar spoke about the importance of replacing the Privy Council with the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ). (API)
