Hitz 103.7, Ezee Radio bring total ‘Freedom’ to listeners

In commemoration of the 30th anniversary of Independence, the radio stations of St Vincent and the Grenadines Broadcasting Corporation (SVGBC) will present a variety of activities that bring out the pride of being a Vincentian and commemorate the spirit of freedom with much verve and joy.{{more}}

Listeners of Ezee Radio and Hitz 103.7 get to win ‘freedom’ from a host of mundane, daily activities – cooking, household chores, shopping, spending money on credit, through the launch of the station’s ‘Freedom’ promotion.

“Hitz 103.7 and Ezee Radio wishes to give its listeners an experience of being free, be it from the stressors of regular life or the freedom to play the music of their choice on air. Keeping in mind the station’s philosophy of treating its listeners in the most special way, we wanted to reward them in a truly unique manner, not just with a regular giveaway.” said Candice Sealey, Head of Sales and Marketing at SVGBC.

The Freedom Promotion includes: FREEDOM from cooking where listeners can win complimentary Dining Out experiences at French Verandah, Fairview Guest House, Basil’s Bar, Veejays and Grandview Grill, Bickles and Surfside Restaurant; FREEDOM to talk: $100 Credit and a Blackberry Curve Flip from Digicel. To qualify for these prizes, the public has to listen to either station and answer questions.

Sealey added that in line with Vincy Home Coming, one of the aims is to have Vincentians appreciate SVG and see the island as a holiday destination by experiencing what visitors would experience. Furthermore, there will be the launch of ‘WE Vincy’, radio snippets on both Ezee Radio and Hitz 103.7, produced in house at SVGBC, that are designed to instill pride and inform Vincentians about our culture and resources.
