LIME has new Chief Financial Officer

LIME has strengthened its regional management team with two key appointments – a chief financial officer and a new executive vice president for the Windward Islands.{{more}}

Gerard Borely, a Trinidadian, joins the business as Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for strategy, planning and the effective integration of the financial systems of all LIME markets.

Borely brings more than 20 years of corporate finance, strategy and management experience to LIME, having most recently served as managing director of corporate banking, and, previously, regional chief financial officer at FirstCaribbean International Bank. Borely will be based in Barbados.

Ian Blanchard has been appointed as Executive Vice President – Windward Islands and will have overall responsibility for operations in Grenada, St. Vincent, St. Lucia and Dominica.

Blanchard has 24 years of corporate experience in the Caribbean and globally, and previously held the positions of chief executive for LIME’s businesses in Dominica and Grenada. In Grenada he led the business through the rebuilding of the telecommunications network after the devastation of Hurricane Ivan.
