SVG Women to get ‘Ultimate Makeover’

The women of St Vincent and the Grenadines are being afforded an unusual opportunity to receive what is being described by the organizers as ‘the Ultimate Makeover’.{{more}}

This unique opportunity will take the form of a crucial Convention hosted by the Women of Virtue at Hope for Life Restoration Ministries in Arnos Vale.

According to Morthley Robertson, President of the group, “The Church recognizes that for so many people the fire has gone out and needs to be rekindled.” She said the Convention, which is being held under the theme ‘Ultimate makeover from Inside out’ will provide women with that opportunity to be ministered to in their specific areas of need as part of the transformation process.

Meanwhile, the group’s patron Pastor Camille Wilson says women who attend the event will definitely be changed and their families will see and feel the difference. According to her, spouses and other significant others will be saying ‘Wow!’ just as they would if the women had gone to the beauty shop for a physical makeover. She added that the two guest ministers were carefully chosen as they have the capacity to reach people where they are and communicate the life changing message of the gospel simply and effectively.

The Convention opens on Friday 2nd October, 2009, at 7pm, and continues through Sunday 4th, when it begins at 6:30 p.m. Participants will benefit from the ministry of Sister Blossom White from Jamaica and Apostle Sandra Valentine from Kingdom Life Centre in Kissimmee, Florida.

On Saturday morning there will be a special workshop catering especially to singles. The culminating event is a cocktail evening on Monday 5th, starting at 6:30.
