PM takes HOT Bickles with 2 Kool

After addressing the concerns of the Vincentian public on Hot 97.1, a popular FM radio station, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves along with radio host Christopher “2 Kool Chris” Jones journeyed across the street for a quiet breakfast at Bickles restaurant on Wednesday August 5, 2009.{{more}}

Searchlight caught up with the two just as they had finished their meal and were about to leave the restaurant located on the corner of Grenville and Melville Streets.

The men, who appeared to be enjoying each other’s company, both had the same breakfast of French vanilla coffee, a coco bread egg sandwich and a fruit cup. It was the first time that the Dr. Gonsalves had visited the downtown branch of the restaurant and described the service as excellent. “I had to celebrate with my brother 2 Kool because we had a wonderful programme,” the Prime Minister said.

Dr. Gonsalves was a guest on Jones’ early morning talk show, where he answered questions posed by listeners. Gonsalves spoke on issues including the status of projects such as the Argyle International Airport, the National Library Complex and police brutality, among other topics. (OS)
