More customers win big in LIME ‘UR It’

LIME customers were promised a sizzling hot summer of cash and prizes worth over $65,000 and LIME continues to live up to its promise. As summer Heats Up and customers continue to Talk Up, Top Up, Text Up and Talk Up, they are reaping the benefits for doing so. With a fantastic array of weekly prizes in the line-up this summer, including cash, Nintendo Wiis (r), BlackBerry 8900 smartphones, digital cameras iPods and vouchers for spa services, groceries, petrol and school supplies, many customers are cashing in “big time.” {{more}}This week five (5) lucky LIME customers were presented with their prizes at a presentation at LIME’s corporate office on Halifax Street.

LIME’s corporate offices are abuzz all day with excitement, as customers turn up to redeem daily prizes such as back packs, beach towels, baby tees, folding chairs and t-shirts.

Endorsing the fever-pitch excitement generated by this never-before-seen summer promotion, customers have indicated that they will stop at nothing to win any or all of the prizes. Week two winners were presented with Nintendo Wii, Grocery voucher valued at US$50, Spa or salon treatment voucher valued at US$100, Petrol voucher and US$500 in cash.

The lucky winners are Lucinda Quashie of Richland Park, Rose Chantelle Greaves of Dorsetshire Hill, Garfield George of Fair hall, Ralph Sinclair of Chauncey and Ruthnen Mornix of Biabou.

At the presentation of his gift, Mornix reflected on the years that he spent with Cable and Wireless, now LIME, and said: “I have always been with LIME and I enjoy the service from fixed line to internet to mobile. This is just reward for the many years I have been with the company and don’t expect me to leave.” Ruthven won US$500.

Lucinda Quammie was extremely pleased with her Nintendo Wii and immediately acknowledged that her children will have to help her set it up and said: “I am just happy to win something from LIME for the first time. After talking for five minutes and get the next hour free I still won a prize for doing that. WOW!!”

“The traffic in our stores has picked up since week one of the promotions, and we anticipate a consistent flow to continue over the next few weeks. This is about customers, and customers every where are fancying their chances of winning, so LIME is where the action is this summer without a doubt,” declared Fitzgerald Huggins, Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications.

For the second week running, the UR It promotion gives LIME’s customers a chance to win by topping up $20, texting the word “UP” to 5463, making a prepaid mobile call that lasts 5 minutes or longer and taking up any product or service in LIME’s portfolio. With the promotion running over a two month period, hundreds of customers are expected to win from a prize pool totaling $65000. Customers may win multiple times, via any of the qualifying methods.

While customers will win prizes over the next 7 weeks in the weekly prize draws, there will be a series of instant prizes of LIME-branded paraphernalia including Baby Tees, Sports Towels, Folding Chairs, T-shirts, Backpacks and caps for customers that text “UP” to shortcode 5463. Truly an all-inclusive promotion, every LIME customer has a real chance of walking away with something “LIME” this summer.
