Certificate in Management Studies to be offered here

The Centre for Enterprise Development Inc. is currently engaged in discussion with the Barbados Institute of Management and Productivity (BIMAP) to offer its 1 year Certificate in Management Studies here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines commencing in September this year.{{more}}

The programme is aimed at persons already in the workforce who wish to enhance their careers or update their skills as a response to the increased demand for specialization in the work environment. As such, Supervisory and General Management specializations have been identified as two introductory key areas of study that can contribute to satisfying current business management needs at the certificate level.

Students will be exposed to the principles and up-to-date theories and practices in each area and will enhance their soft skill training through participation in relevant seminars. To be admitted to the programme, students should have four (4) CXC general certificates or equivalent and two (2) years’ work experience.
