The Fisheries Division is making an appeal to all Fishermen throughout St.Vincent and the Grenadines to be aware of the prevailing high windy conditions and rough seas being experienced, especially on the eastern coast, or the windward side of the island.{{more}}

The Division is making this appeal due to the fact that reports have already been received of fishing vessel that were sunk or swamped by the high tides and rough seas affecting the windward coastline.

All fishermen are advised to exercise extreme caution when going out to sea and to pay particular attention to all small craft warnings issued by the local Met. Office and the Coast Guard.
