ULP to hold Convention at Campden Park, Sunday

The Unity Labour Party will hold its 15th National Convention this Sunday at the Campden Park Secondary School.{{more}}

The event, which starts at 9:30 a.m. under the theme: ‘Continuing The Winning Trend In 2010’ will be addressed by the Hon. Peter David, General Secretary of the Grenada National Democratic Congress (NDC). The keynote speaker also holds the portfolio of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism in the New Government of Grenada.

Julian Francis, General Secretary of the ruling ULP in a letter to the media noted that Political Leader of the ULP, Prime Minister Dr.Ralph Gonsalves’s address will be hot. He added that the morning session will be brought live on WeFM and on Star FM 98.3 and 104.7.

Francis also disclosed that at this year’s convention, the offices of Political Leader, Deputy Political Leader, Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Party will be contested.
