Up for grabs is US$1 million, in addition to a host of other prizes ranging from plasma television sets, printers, laptop computers, video games and, of course, cell phones.
At Thursdayâs Launch, acting Country Manager Foster Hannaway informed the media that starting Monday 24th, two lucky LIME customers will win two weekly prizes, until the final draw on January 15th, 2009.
Eligible customers are the ones who take advantage of the many LIME services, including zeroing their account balances or topping up $20 or more.
Hannaway also indicated that on Christmas day, all LIME customers will receive $5 credit and will be able to make free calls.
Apart from the free phone calls, customers can purchase Blackberry cell phones for half price, to which they can apply the recently launched AllTalk plan where mobile customers will have access to over 6,000 minutes per month.
Phones are not the only deals available for the holiday season, as Hannaway unveiled a five-payment plan for customers purchasing PCs.
Vincentians making use of any of LIMEâs promotions will join customers in the companyâs other regional markets for a chance to win the US$1 million, which is scheduled to be drawn next year.
Marketing Manager Fitz Huggins also announced the companyâs Acts of Random Kindness Initiative, where the company randomly assists Vincentians around the country with good deeds.
Huggins said that the company, which rebranded its products and services less than a month ago, has been receiving mixed reactions about the rebranding.
The Marketing Manager said that most responses have been positive and that he expects customers would warm up to the new look, new feel LIME especially with the promotions that are currently taking place. (JJ)
