Last Tuesday, October 28, at Digicel’s corporate office in Kingstown, five persons collected prizes ranging from EC$500 to free groceries.

Rewarded were Keon Griffith, Morvette Nash, Cassita Prince, Aleshia Knights and Samuel Cyrus. Emil Fraser, who collected on behalf of her boyfriend Keon Griffith said that the EC$500 cash she won could not have come at a better time. “I feel good because my son is sick and the money can be used to take him to the doctor; I thank Digicel very much.”

Nash, who is a Nurse was happy for another reason. “I never won anything in my life,” she said, after collecting her EC$100 free groceries voucher. Prince, a student at the St. Vincent Technical College, got EC$100 credit. “This feels good because I use a lot of credit,” she quipped.

EC$100 gas went to Knights. “I use a lot of gas,” she revealed. Cyrus, who like Nash, took away a voucher for EC$100 groceries, said that he has been trying to win something from Digicel for the longest while. “I’m glad I finally won,” he said, while revealing that he is looking forward to the Christmas promotions.

The prizes were handed over by Marketing Executive Edmund Joachim who commented: “We are just trying to reward customers for using our services”.

The “Welcome to the better life” campaign was a draw for five weekly prizes. Each week Digicel customers who paid their bill on time, topped up $15 or more, or purchased a handset were automatically entered into the weekly draws for a chance to win cash, free credit, singer vouchers, fuel and grocery vouchers and movie and pizza nights (for you and your friends) to Cinerama (before it closed) and Grand View Grill. The promotion ends today, October 31st.
