YFC National Prayer, Rally

The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Youth For Christ, Vermont Miracle Tabernacle, and the New Life Music Ministries will host their 7th Annual National Prayer and Worship in the City 2008, under the theme “The Worship Experience”.{{more}}

This year, it will take place over three days. On Friday night, youth departments in churches will spend time in prayer for the youths of this nation. On Saturday, there will be two worship workshops. One will be held at the New Life Ministries in North Union, at 9:30 am, and the other at 1:30 pm at the Layou Miracle Church.

The National march and rally will be held on Sunday 24th, beginning at 3:30 pm. The march will begin at the courthouse in Kingstown. According to a release from Youth for Christ, the march will be against drugs, crime and violence, and other social ills of the society. The event will climax at the Market Square, where the National Prayer and rally will commence at 4: 30 pm.

“Pastors and Church Leaders are encouraged to support this national event as we lift this nation up in prayer to God. This event is designed to bring all the Churches in this nation, Ministers of the Government, the Opposition, and youths groups together for a time of praise to the Almighty God for his blessing on us as a nation,” the release from Youth for Christ ended.
