Shots ring out, injured man blames a nail

This stems from a situation that took place in Paul’s Avenue last Tuesday evening at around 9 p.m.

Information reaching SEARCHLIGHT indicates that three men were standing in an area in Paul’s Avenue when two men wearing jackets with hoods approached them and opened fire.

The police are believed to have recovered five spent shells from the scene, but have hit a snag in their investigations.

This is because the believed victim refutes suggestions that he was shot; therefore, it sounded like a gunshot, it looked like a gunshot, but it was really a nail poke.
