Pervert terrorising Arnos Vale women

A pervert terrorized an Arnos Vale mother and her two daughters over the Christmas season, and they are now living in fear, anxious for the police to catch up with the man.

The three, who did not wish to be named, spoke to SEARCHLIGHT on New Year’s Day about their dilemma, which started on December 9th at about 3:30 a.m.{{more}}

“I was in the other bedroom with the baby, and then I went across into the (main) bedroom, and saw the window open, and the vent was missing,” said one of the daughters, who has a baby less than one month old.

It is when she was trying to close the window that she heard moaning noises coming from outside the window. This went on for about ten minutes.

Furthermore, the man started making sexual remarks about the women, including comments about their underwear.

“It was creepy. I was scared,” said the youngest of the three women, a teenager.

Then on December 27th, the mother told SEARCHLIGHT that she got up around 5 a.m. to knead flour to make bread, before heading out to work, when she heard a knock on a window.

“When I went by my kitchen window, I saw this man pressing his penis against the window,” the terrified woman said.

They believe that the same person came back on Old Year’s Day and was in the yard.

The house is secured with burglar bars, but the women told SEARCHLIGHT that until the police catch the culprit, things will not be the same.

“I am afraid to go to the bathroom or the bedroom by myself,” said the youngest.

SEARCHLIGHT is reliably informed that another woman, living 10 minutes away from this family, has reported a similar incident to the police, and it is believed that the culprit is the same person. (KJ)
