Over the past week, St. Vincent Electricity Services Limited (VINLEC) made generous monetary donations to various groups/organisations to assist in their projects.{{more}}
On Friday, November 23, the Company donated $3000 to the Salvation Army Kettle Appeal Fund at the launch of the Appeal at the General Post Office. On Tuesday 27, the National Nine Mornings Committee was presented with a cheque of $20,000 for sponsorship of the Community Lighting Competition, which forms part of the Nine Mornings festivities.
The two other institutions that benefited were the National Society of and for the Blind who received $1000 for their Annual National Fund Raising Extravaganza and The School for Children with Special Needs received $500 to assist in the Annual Christmas Concert. Both cheques were presented at the Companyâs Corporate Office, Kingstown, on Wednesday 28th.
