Secondary Schools’ Bible Quiz is here
The producers of Scriptural Search Radio Discussion programme announces its monthly Bible Quiz for secondary school students, beginning in November 2007.{{more}}
This tangible effort is designed to assist the youth of the nation to increase their knowledge and understanding of the Bible. At the same time, it will give them an opportunity to win useful prizes in a wholesome and positive away.
Three questions will be asked from a particular section of the Bible on the Scriptural Search programme on WEFM 99.9 on the first Tuesday of each month and repeated on the second. Questions, along with the winner of the previous monthâs quiz, will also be published in the Searchlight newspaper on the weekend following the first Tuesday.
Participating students will be asked to send in their answers by email to scripturalsearch@yahoo.com or via the postal service to: Quiz, P.O. Box 1723, Kingstown, to reach on or before the 23rd of the month. The name, form and school of each entrant must also be clearly stated.
Draws will be made on the first Tuesday of each month. The student with all correct answers first drawn will win a Bible and a cash award of $75 to assist with school supplies or transportation. The quiz is opened to all secondary school students in SVG. Parents and teachers are requested to encourage young people under their care to participate regularly.
