By next week only three contestants will remain from the five which contested last week in the Digicel Rising Stars competition. Will Vincentian Jestyn Holder who performed Stevie Wonder’s “Over Joyed” last week be one of them?

His performance this week along with your votes will determine that.

Holder who performed Stevie Wonder’s “Overjoyed” said in an interview that he believed that his chances were good and said that he was overwhelmed and truly “overjoyed” by the support he has received from the public.

A songwriter for several years, the Byrea resident believes that he is versatile enough to cop the top prize of a top of the line Sony Ericsson phone, a Publishing Contract and US$10,000 cash.

He urged Vincentians to continue voting and texting for him for him at #7803 and promised to make his homeland proud.

Last week, stella performances came from Tarina Simon- Dominica, Thalia King- Antigua and Barbuda, Devin Flanders- Grenada and Dana Barnes- Antigua and Barbuda .
