Vincentian designer featured on cover of Shabeau magazine

Kimya Glasgow Designs (KGD) is featured on the current cover of Shabeau magazine. The look is from the KGD 2007 male line and is worn by 2007 Male Face of Shabeau – Kai Leggard of Trinidad.

This is the first major Caribbean magazine cover for a Vincentian designer.{{more}}

Shabeau magazine, one of the top 2 magazines in the Caribbean, is based in Barbados and is distributed throughout the Caribbean in Antigua, BVI, Barbados, Dominica, Guyana, Jamaica, St Kitts, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, and New York in the US, with a total readership of 200,000.

According to Shabeau Publisher Joan Ward, “Shabeau magazine has become the voice of the Caribbean Fashion Industry’s designers through its editorial and pictorial features since its launch in 2003. Shabeau magazine encourages the artistic abilities of new designers throughout the Caribbean such as Vincentian Kimya Glasgow whose design is featured on the cover of Shabeau magazine.”

KGD has also been featured in Caribbean publications Island Where and SHE Caribbean.

This double cover issue also features Vincentian Face of Shabeau representatives Melissa Solomon and Perry Norris.
