Belair Government School not closing doors

The Ministry of Education notes that certain statements are circulating throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines with respect to the Belair Government School, and wishes to make clear to the general public that there is indeed no intention on the part of the competent authorities to close the school at the end of the current academic year.{{more}}

Parents and guardians of children attending the school, as well as those who would wish to have their children become part of the school, are, therefore, advised that the school will continue to provide a solid and appropriate primary school education to children within the Belair community, and also the surrounding communities, when the academic year commences on Monday, September 3, 2007
