bMobile promoting local artistes
For Vincy Mas 2007, bMobile, official sponsor of Vincy Mas, has embarked on a campaign to promote local artistes under its brand. Early this season they signed Island Network Promotions artistes, Fireman Hooper, Luta and DJ Tarrus.{{more}}
The artistes have already been included in quite a few bMobile initiatives including radio ads, newspaper ads and street pole banners. On Friday of last week bMobile in conjunction with their artistes held the âUltimate Soca Launch Partyâ at Heritage Square. The show saw performances from the Vincy Soca Dans backed by the band Hottsand which featured their singers Johnny Rebel and Syxx.
If the crowd reaction was any indicator the launch party was a huge success. Driven by the electrifying performances from the band and then the highly energised performances from Luta, the crowd motivator, the President DJ Tarrus and the unstoppable, five time Soca Monarch FireMan Hooper the party goers didnât want to leave the streets.
The bMobile posse was also in full effect as members of the High Rollers Family of Calliaqua who have become a part of the bMobile family were also very present in the fete.
âThis show was even more of a success than we could have even imagined, our bMobile artistes have made us very proud and this is just the start of bigger things to come as the season progressesâ, declared Head of Marketing, Fitzgerald Huggins.
The Chairman of the CDC, Mr. Dennis Ambrose was also on hand and expressed his satisfaction with the event and pledged the CDCâs commitment to supporting further ventures of this nature.
The next Network Promotion party featuring the bMobile Vincy Soca Dans will be held in Georgetown this weekend at Flex International. The artistes will be on the road with the bMobile caravan, Miss bMobile Nelicia Thomas and the bMobile posse as they make whistle stops from Georgetown to Calliaqua on Saturday to promote their artistes and Carnival Mobile phone promotions.
