Soft Skills training for YES Programme

As part of the training component of the Youth Empowerment Service 08.MAR.07

Programme of St. Vincent and the Grenadines (YES SVG), the Youth Affairs Department will be holding another series of Soft Skills Training for participants attached on the Programme. The training will be held from Tuesday 13th March 2007 – Monday 19th March 2007.{{more}}

The training sessions will run from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. daily, at three designated Centers: Youth Affairs Department, Waldon Ryan Learning Resource Center (Colonarie) and Sir Louis Straker Learning Resource Center (Layou). The training is being Co-ordinated by Mrs. Anastacia Harry, Assistant Youth Officer in the Youth Affairs Department.

During this phase of training approximately one hundred and seventy (170) persons, from throughout the Island, will be exposed to topics such as:

Professional Image and Attitude in the Work Place Effective Budgeting

Conflict resolution Values clarification Role Play.

The Opening Sessions will be addressed by the Hon. Glen Beache, Minister of Tourism, Youth & Sports along with Youth Officer – Carlos Williams.
