Man in black rapes teenager in Antigua

ANTIGUA – Police are investigating an incident which has left a minor and her guardian seriously traumatised.

Reports reaching the SUN indicate that shortly before 5 am Monday a knife-wielding masked man reportedly entered a Golden Grove residence through a bedroom window and attacked a 15-year-old girl who was sleeping at the time.{{more}}

The man, it is alleged, held the minor at knife point then ravaged her. While she was being violated, her unsuspecting grandmother was sleeping in the adjacent bedroom.

Two relatives were also in the same room with her, but he forced them into the same bed with the girl after they attempted to put on the lights to find out what was going on. Her attacker who was dressed in all black, reports indicate, escaped on foot.

It is alleged that after the ordeal, the girl was overcome with emotion and went to her grandmother to alert her of what had just happened.

The girl has since been taken to the Holberton Hospital where she received medical attention. (Antigua Sun)
