St. Benedict’s Building Fund springs from Mountain Top

Mountain Top Springs Ltd, bottlers of Mountain Top Premium Spring Water recently donated EC$10,927.20 to the St Benedict’s Day Nursery and Infant Hospital Building Fund. This donation is a result of a commitment made by Mountain Top Springs Ltd earlier this year to pledge five cents from the sale of each bottle of specially labelled 500ml Mountain Top Spring Water.

In addition to the pledge, Mountain Top solicited donations from customers of all of the banks in St.Vincent and the Grenadines. This effort realised over EC$5,000.{{more}}

Sr.Nyra-Anne Pajotte, speaking on behalf of the Most Reverend Bishop, the Corpus Christi Carmelites, St. Benedict’s Advisory Board members, Staff and Children of St. Benedict’s Day Nursery and Infant Hospital Institution, thanked Mountain Top and its Committee members for organizing the fundraiser and for sensitising the public to the fund raising efforts. She also extended special thanks to the general public for their kind donations.

Sr.Nyra-Anne however added, “We continue to be in dire need of additional funds. We are still working on plans, which we hope will be available soon so we can “turn the soil” and begin this mammoth project for the children’s sake”.
