In February, Cable & Wireless launched a series of promotions dubbed “A Month of Love.” On Wednesday March 1st, 2006 Cable & Wireless announced Maurice Cupid of Campden Park as the winner of the weekend getaway to St. Lucia compliments LIAT to stay at the all inclusive Sandals Resort. Cupid who was in disbelief upon receiving the news said that he has purchased handsets from Cable & Wireless in the past but missed opportunities to win in the various offers available. On this occasion, things are in his favor, for which he is very happy. Corporate Communications Executive, Ms Jennilee Glasgow noted, “The savings and benefits derived from being a Cable and Wireless customer are limitless. There will be many more like Mr. Cupid who will not only win with Cable and Wireless but be part of our family.” The weekend getaway entitles Cupid to bring along a special someone to the Sandals Resort, which is known as the ultimate couples escape. An Auditor of the accounting firm of KPMG witnessed the entire draw.

Although February is finished, the company continues to make available affordable mobile handsets and its popular “Free after 5” promotion for the month of March.
