Vincentians honoured by Faith Word Ministries

Several of the nation’s leading professionals were recognized by the Faith Word Ministries for their contribution to the society last Sunday afternoon. {{more}}

The honourees included the then Acting Prime Minister, Mike Browne, Senior Magistrate Carl Joseph, Commissioner of Police Keith Miller, top cop Station Sergeant Trevor Bailey for his 16 years of service, Pastors Cornelius Haynes and Cynthia Miller, teachers Elizabeth Austin and Judith Tucker, Nurse Merle Gibson, Sanitation Worker Randolph ‘Pinchum’ George, grave digger Leroy Gibson, educator Victor Byron and Patterson Homer.

The hosts of the event were Pastor Ezekiel Creese and Pastor Marcia Creese. Pastor Creese said this is the fourth year his church has recognised Vincentians of all walks of life for their invaluable service to the country.

He said a team from the church has already compiled a list of persons who will be recognized next year.

A previous honouree was former Prime Minister of St.Vincent and the Grenadines Sir James Mitchell.

And on April 17, Faith Word Ministries will be taking its annual ‘Love Fest’ to Sandy Bay where it will cater for 3, 000 people.

This is the third year the event is being staged.
