Bowens wins Digicel Valentine’s draw

Traditionally the colours of Valentine’s are Red and White. But last Tuesday, February 14, the colours flipped to pink and black.

Avon Bowens of the North Leeward village of Spring was the winner in Digicel’s grand draw of two Motorola V3 Razar handsets, one pink, one black. Customers who bought any of the five handsets that were on discount were eligible to enter the competition.{{more}}

The draw was aired live on popular Radio Station, Hot 97.1 with Radio personality “2 Kool Chris” and Marketing Executive of Digicel, Juno DeRoche. Five calls were made to persons who bought phones prior to Avon’s number being dialled. “When I got the phone call, I felt very excited and was at a loss for words,Bowens said.” To make her day complete, she also won dinner for two at the French Verandah Restaurant.

Bowens who bought a Siemens A70 handset said she plans on giving the phone she bought to her mother. As for the two Motorola Razars, she is going to give her boyfriend the black one and keep the pink handset.
