ECGC giving back to farmers

While many other companies are looking for new ways to make a profit from their clients, the Eastern Caribbean Group of Companies, ECGC, stretched out a hand of assistance. This gesture was made after two of the country’s largest poultry farmers, Vincent Da Silva and David Browne suffered losses from the heavy rains of Monday November 21.{{more}}

On hand to make the donation on Friday November 25 at Cane Grove was Marketing Officer Kirk Smith who handed over 75 bags of feed to Da Silva, while 1000 chicks were donated to Browne. Smith said ECGC understands the importance of their clients’ business to their company and to the country, and wanted to help the farmers regain their footing in business.

Both farmers, whose farms are located on land leased from the Government at Cane Grove, expressed their appreciation to ECGC.
