Vincentian Delegation at World Travel Market

When the 2005 World Travel Market opened on Monday November 14, this country had a large delegation present at the event. Director of Tourism Vida Bernard heads the Ministry’s delegation to the World’s largest Travel Event that is being held in Excel, London.{{more}}

Bernard was supported by Marketing Manager Jill McIntyre, Chairman of the Carnival Development Corporation Dennis Ambrose, Director of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Hotel and Tourism Association, Janet Woods, this country’s London Office Sales Representatives Rachael Charles and Tonya Fraser as well as representatives from St. Vincent and the Grenadines Public Relations Company for the United Kingdom, the West Minster Communications Group.

World Travel Market is a business-to-business exhibition that provides opportunities for the global travel trade industry to network. In 2004 the event had approximately 44,000 persons in attendance including exhibitors, trade visitors, students and the international press.

Several members of the local private sector will also be attending the annual travel event.
