Cancer patient gets help

Gloria Williams was handed a cheque of $5000 last Friday from the St. Vincent and Grenadines Teachers’ Union (SVTU) to assist with medical expenses.

Williams, a teacher at the Roman Catholic school, was diagnosed with Cancer in February this year and has been receiving treatment since.

She is scheduled to travel to Trinidad later this month to undergo Chemotherapy.
