Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has announced the donation of US$20,000 to the International Red Cross to assist the victims of the worst diaster in US history.

The other offers, made before SVG’s, came from Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Guyana, and Jamaica – the latter three of which were affected by natural disasters in the last 10 months. The offers were acknowledged by the US State Department that said these were among 60 countries around the world that pledged assistance.
