Depression Therapy

The Heritage Theatre Company of Grenada in association with Hairoun Theatre Company of SVG will be holding a two hour comedy show entitled: Ivan Roof-Us from today Friday 26th August to the 28th at the Peace Memorial Hall at 8pm.{{more}}

At a press conference held at the Chamber of Commerce on the 16th August. Christopher De Riggs, Director of the Grenadian based group, stated that staging the play is the group’s way of expressing gratitude to the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines for their efforts in helping with the recent hurricane disaster. In his own words, “the show is therapy for the depressed”.

Heritage Theatre Company has been in existence for 15 years, and they have done shows throughout the region and in parts of North America. Speaking to the press, Mr. De Riggs noted that their shows vary from comedy to full-length serious plays and focus mainly on current events.
