France takes the second chance

LaFleur France is one of those who is keen on making the best of her life. She may have missed out on the Common Entrance, but she was not going to let any other opportunity to enhance her academic background pass her. {{more}}

From Chapman’s Village in the North Central Windward constituency, France was one three New Grounds students to pass the School Leaving Examination.

The others are Carmica James and Candy James.

France is thankful to her sister Morida for her additional lessons. Morida is a former New Adelphi student who imparted some of her knowledge to ensure France’s success. “She encouraged me,” France pointed out.

France hopes to get into Bishop’s College Kingstown. She is something of an athlete and also enjoys singing.
